One of Plymouth’s most popular builders has donated £3,000 to the city’s hospitals.
Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon marked the payment to Plymouth Hospitals Charity at Derriford Hospital alongside the Council’s Cabinet Member for Health & Adult Social Care, Cllr Mary Aspinall, as part of its Community Champions scheme.
A local developer has donated £1,000 to Shammy Rovers Youth FC.
Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon’s funding comes from its Community Champions scheme, which sees £24,000 go to good causes and much-valued organisations across the region every year, with recent recipients including Cornwall Air Ambulance, the Museum of Cornish Life, and Bodmin Town Band.
A regional housebuilder has widened its workforce as a student joins the ranks as part of their placement year.
Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon will be joined by Juned Ali who is studying for a degree in accounting and finance at Plymouth University and will get experience of being in the workplace for his chosen profession.
