Otter Nurseries and Radio Plymouth have announced the winners of this year’s scarecrow design competition.
This was the second year that the two organisations have teamed up to challenge children from local primary schools to design scarecrows for the chance to win gardening items for their school. The entries could either be drawn or made designs.
Our Plymouth garden centre is holding a Christmas Fun Day with lots of activities for all the family. Saturday November 7th 10am to 4pm.
For younger children there’s face painting, Elfic the Jester juggling and making balloon creations, and of course Santa and his sleigh.
Adults have the chance to taste Lyme Bay wines, watch wood turning demonstrations and learn new ideas for making soup.
