St. Luke’s Hospice need your Postage Stamps!

Before you decide to discard that envelope with the used stamp on it, refrain and save it for the St Luke’s Hospice. The hospice would like your used stamps, as they can raise money for St Luke’s by selling them on to raise much needed funds.

Last year they raised over £1500 but this year they are hoping they can do a lot better and need your help to do so.

University welcomes 'One Week Job' man

Plymouth University welcomed a new member to its team this week in the form of ‘One Week Job’ man Matt Frost.

A former patient from Torrington Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) has presented staff with a generous donation of £3,000 and thanked the staff for their care.

Sid Pascoe was admitted to Derriford Hospital for a triple bypass in December 2009 following an electrocardiogram (ECG).

Firefighters to scale Dartmoor summits to raise money for charities
