A murder investigation has now begun which is being managed by detectives from the major crime investigation team following the discovery of the body of a 76 year old man at a flat in Devonport.
Police were called to an address in Granby Way, Devonport, at approximately 12.10pm on Thursday 7 February 2013, after there was concern for the welfare of a local resident.
