Home Bargins to open new store in Honition on heath retail park creating 63 new jobs with £3m investment

17th June 2026: Home Bargains has invested approximately £3 million into its new Honiton store, which will be officially opened at 8.00am on Saturday 20th June 2026. 

As one of the UK’s largest family-run retailers, Home Bargains is creating 63 new jobs in the local community with its new store in Honiton, with 60 of these being new hires.

The new Honiton store will join over 600 outlets across the UK. Opening approximately 50 stores a year, Home Bargains is bucking current trends in the industry.

Josh Carter, the new Honiton Store Manager, said: " Really exciting chapter in the HB journey, have been a Store Manager in two of our existing sites however this is the first new store I have opened. Really looking forward to delivering great service with Top Brands at Bottom Prices for the Honiton community"

The 19,461 sq. ft store, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food. The store will also include an instore bakery, café and a garden centre.
