New Garden Hot Tub Rooms Arrive at The Manor & Ashbury Resorts, Devon
Garden hot tubs rooms and a new-look restaurant have launched this Spring at The Manor & Ashbury Resorts, in Devon, following its recent acquisition by Evergreen Escapes Group.
These are the first projects to complete within a comprehensive multi-year refurbishment programme that will significantly enhance the guest experience across the resorts while maintaining the core ‘sport and craft’ proposition that is so popular with repeat visitors.
The first phase of Garden Hot Tub Rooms is already accepting guests and proving popular, giving access to premium features including:
- Private patio garden with hot tub
- Luxury robe and slipper sets
- Nespresso coffee machine with Cornish Coffee pods
- Welcome Prosecco
More Garden Hot Tub rooms will be made available soon and over a two-year period, the refurbishment programme is set to extend across all room types at both resort locations.
The Manor & Ashbury Resorts have also unveiled a brand-new restaurant, The Meldon, that replaced the former dining room at The Manor and opened on 12th ofFebruary for the 2026 season.
“Our guests book a full-board package, so dining has always been a central focus for us,” says Steve Harris, Managing Director of The Manor & Ashbury. “With the launch of The Meldon – inspired by the iconic Meldon Hill – we’ve transformed what was once a dining room into a true restaurant experience. Guests can enjoy great food crafted by our talented in-house team while taking in beautiful views across Dartmoor”.
Stephen Twiss, Executive Chairman for Evergreen Escapes Group, adds: “Our refurbishment programme will ensure that guests who visit The Manor & Ashbury for its unique activities and craft experiences can also enjoy an enhanced standard of accommodation across every room type by its completion. This investment not only elevates the overall guest experience, but also strengthens the resort’s year-round appeal, helping to sustain local employment and reaffirm our long-term commitment to the area and its community”.
The proposed scope of the refurbishment programme represents a significant investment by Evergreen Escapes Group in the future of the resorts and the surrounding community.
As the project progresses, it is expected to create new employment opportunities, strengthen relationships with local suppliers and producers, and enhance the destination’s appeal to new and repeat visitors, contributing to the long-term economic vitality of the area while reinforcing the resort’s role as a hub for hospitality and tourism enterprise.
