Families can look forward to a fun-packed Easter Raceday at Exeter Racecourse this Tuesday (April 7), with free goody bags, Easter eggs and a host of children’s activities on offer.

Young racegoers will be invited to take part in a racecourse-wide Easter trail, hunting for coloured eggs and earning a free Easter egg upon completing their sheet. Goody bags will also be handed out on entry, subject to availability, making it one of the best-value days out of the Easter holidays.

Alongside an afternoon of competitive racing, there will be plenty to keep children entertained, including the chance to meet a jockey and get an autograph, photo opportunities, activity bags with arts and crafts, a twin dance machine and traditional favourites such as ‘welly wanging’. Visitors can also meet lambs, explore a tractor, and enjoy games including Roller Ball Derby and Strike a Light, with Racing to School activities also taking place on the day.

General Manager Jack Parkinson said: “After the huge success of our recent Family Raceday, we are really looking forward to welcoming families back for our Easter Raceday this Tuesday. It is free entry for all under 18s and there is a great mix of racing and activities to enjoy across the afternoon.”

Gates open at 12.40pm, with the first race at 2.10pm and the final race at 5.10pm.
