From January 2025 to September 2025, Devonshire Homes has raised an impressive £3,300 for CHAT by donating to the charity on every open market sale. Since choosing CHAT as their Charity of the Year, the local housebuilder has raised over £11,000, from a variety of sales and charitable activities such as its annual Charity Golf Day.

CHAT, based in Mid Devon, provides vital services to individuals and families facing housing insecurity and financial difficulties. The charity offers housing advice, tenancy support, and emergency assistance to those in need, ensuring that vulnerable members of the community receive guidance and practical support.

Devonshire Homes’ donation will contribute to CHAT’s essential services, helping to prevent homelessness and provide money advice to those struggling to make ends meet across the local area.

The cheque was presented by Jane Pearce, Sales and Marketing Director at Devonshire Homes, to Holly Sutton, Fundraising and Development Manager at CHAT, at the housebuilder’s headquarters in Tiverton.

Jane Pearce commented: “We were delighted to present a cheque to CHAT for £3,300. Our staff have been really enthusiastic about supporting this amazing local charity over the last year and helping to make a positive impact close to home supporting those in need.”

Holly Sutton added: “Everyone at CHAT is incredibly grateful to the team at Devonshire Homes for their continued support and generosity to our local area. The funds raised will help us to continue delivering vital housing advice, debt support and emergency assistance to people in Mid Devon who are struggling to make ends meet.”
