Plymouth is set for a frightfully fun October as Stagecoach South West and Home Park, home of Plymouth Argyle Football Club, join forces to launch the city’s first Spooky Bus, ahead of the Spooky Stadium experience at Home Park.

The Spooky Bus will take to the streets on Tuesday, 21 October, bringing a taste of Halloween to some of Plymouth’s most popular spots. The haunted double-decker will be decorated for the occasion, with surprises for those brave enough to step aboard.

And if you dare to climb aboard, you could be in for a treat - 20 pairs of tickets to the Spooky Stadium event will be hidden on the bus throughout the day.

Departing from Home Park Stadium at around 10am, the route will include stops at:

  • The Box (North Hill)
  • The Viaduct (outside Boom Battle Bar)
  • The Barbican (Mayflower Steps)
  • Royal William Yard
  • Returning to Home Park

The bus will spend around 15–20 minutes at each location, giving the public a chance to meet the spooky crew, take photos and find out more about Home Park’s upcoming Halloween event.

The Spooky Stadium at Home Park

For the first time, Home Park will be transformed into a haunted experience on 30 and 31 October, complete with live actors, special effects and surprises around every corner.
Family sessions will run from 4pm–6pm, followed by 18+ adult sessions from 7pm onwards, ending with a Halloween party at the Babcock Devonport End.

Stagecoach South West will also provide shuttle buses from Home Park to Revolution Plymouth for the official Spooky Stadium afterparty.

Peter Knight, Managing Director at Stagecoach South West, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Plymouth Argyle to bring a bit of extra fun to the city this Halloween. The Spooky Bus is a great way to get everyone in the mood for the main event at Home Park.”

Home Park Concerts and Large Events Manager, Michelle Rysdale, added: “Spooky Stadium is set to be unlike anything we’ve ever done before. The Spooky Bus will help spread the excitement right across Plymouth.”
