Attend the Halloween Soiree
Head to Boringdon Hall for the Halloween Soiree on Saturday, 29th of October at 7pm. Tickets are £19.95 per person. With the venue’s striking towers made of stone and its archways, you will feel like you have been transported to a Halloween movie set. There will be a cocktail reception when you arrive to start the night of fun, and you can then take an exciting ghost walk through the Hall before enjoying music and dancing all night long. The dress code is evening wear, but you can certainly dress up in a costume if you wish.
Visit Barbican Leisure Park
For free Halloween fun that your kids will thoroughly enjoy, head to Barbican Leisure Park. Your kids can get dressed up in their Halloween costumes, and they can participate in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts projects. Head over on Friday, 28th of October. The event will be held from 12-5pm, and you can try plenty of hands-on activities that are centred around the theme of All Hallows’ Eve.
Participate in Spooky Sunday
Another great way to celebrate Halloween with the kids is by heading to Plym Valley Railway for Spooky Sunday on 30th October from 11am to 4pm. Everyone can dress up in their costumes and head over for some fun, including crafts, games, face painting, heritage diesel operation, pumpkin shy, and more. There will be a free gift available for every child that attends, too, so they can take something home to remember the event.
Boo at the Zoo
Head over to the Dartmoor Zoological Park for the Boo at the Zoo event, which is set to take place on the 28th and 29th of October from 7-10pm. This is the sixth time that this popular event will be held, and it is set to be the biggest one yet. You can also participate in music and dancing, animal encounters, face painting, crafts, a ghost hunters trail, dress competitions with prizes, and more.
