The unique and magical ‘Kave’ and outside gazebo available for wedding ceremonies have so much to offer and truly are part of coastal wedding venue like no other. Read on to find out more about this extraordinary wedding experience…

The ‘Kave’ is surprisingly bright and warm but still manages to capture the characteristics of an enchanted cave, bringing a beautiful and intimate ambiance to your ceremony that you will cherish forever. This, and the astonishing views are what makes Ocean Kave the most exceptional wedding setting around.
If an outdoor wedding is what you have always dreamed of, Ocean Kave have a solution for this too. Ceremonies can be held in their outside Gazebo which looks out to the majestic Atlantic Ocean, allowing you and your guests to enjoy breath-taking sea views whilst you say ‘I do’.

For the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment are the stunning Sunset Rooms. Huge windows face out towards the ocean and beyond, giving the illusion that you are still outside (without needing to endure the elements) meaning you won’t miss a moment of the spectacular landscape. This will also allow you and your guests to watch the sun setting on one of the best days of your life!

It is no wonder Ocean Kave are the recent winners of the Gold Award for Best Countryside Wedding Venue in the South West at The Wedding Industry Awards! With years of experience in arranging bespoke weddings, Ocean Kave want to make the planning process as easy and stress free as possible. They have many different packages available to tailor to your every need.

If this wasn’t enough, you won’t even have to venture far to your bridal suite! Onsite are 14 incredibly beautiful luxury Westward Living cottages. Westward Living are celebrating their 10th year of trading this year at Duckhaven Stud. They offer a diverse, luxurious yet affordable stay with private direct access to the South West Coastal Footpath and accommodation suitable for the whole family – even the family dog and horse!

Guests can enjoy an amazing fine dining experience before relaxing in the hot tub to watch the beautiful sunset with a glass of bubbly. It is no surprise they were voted Gold Winner of two awards at the Devon Tourism Awards - Self Catering Holiday Provider of the Year and the International Visitor Experience of the Year. They went on to win Gold for Self Catering Holiday Provider of the Year at the South West Tourism Awards as well! On top of these significant achievements, Westward living have also won the Trip Advisor Excellence Award for five years running.

You will be able to encapsulate memories at Ocean Kave and Westward Living for an everlasting unique experience for you and your guests just like newlyweds Molly and Darren (pictured). Despite their wedding day being struck by uninvited guest and wedding gate crasher, Storm Brian, Ocean Kave still managed to provide an unforgettable experience for the happy couple. Luckily, there are three licensed locations within the grounds, meaning they can adapt to almost any weather situation!

When asked why they chose this venture for their wedding day, Molly and Darren replied by saying:

“We knew we wanted something different for our wedding but Ocean Kave took this to a whole new level. The location is BEAUTIFUL, fantastic views and close enough to the beach for photos! The Kave is so cosy and romantic yet big enough for our large family and when lit with candles, it truly is breath taking. We loved how the sunset rooms gave us a blank canvas to bring any theme we desired and the staff are all super friendly. The added bonus of the Westward Living Cottages meant we didn’t hesitate to book even though we weren’t local. Which by the way, are also absolutely fantastic! “
