Game on! Plymouth's friendly games set to return next month

Sports teams from across the city are being invited to take part in an Olympics-style competition hosted by Plymouth City Council’s Sports Development Unit.

The Plymouth Games were launched last summer to build on the legacy of London 2012 and promote sport in a fun way. More than 1,000 people competed in the inaugural event and the Council hopes even more will join in this year....

Climbs and sprints announced for Devon Stage of The Tour

Devon County Council has announced more details of the Devon Stage of this year’s Tour of Britain.

Stage Six of this year’s Tour on Friday 20 September will start in Sidmouth and finish at Haytor in Dartmoor National Park, as the race celebrates its tenth anniversary.

Devon will be making history by hosting the first ever summit finish in the modern era of the race....

Yeovil and MK Dons provide friendly opposition for Argyle

Yeovil Town and Milton Keynes Dons will provide the opposition for Argyle’s two Home Park pre-season friendlies.

League 1 MK visit the Theatre of Greens on Sunday, July 21, before newly-promoted Championship side Yeovil arrive six days later on Saturday, July 27.

Plymouth Argyle have revealed their new home and away kits to be worn in the coming season.

Both Puma shirts will continue to be branded with the WH Bond logo - the company's third season as sponsors

Raiders offer Saturday cheerleading course

Plymouth Raiders are holding the next of their highly popular and successful cheerleading courses starting on Saturday 8 June and running until 13 July.

The courses are open to everyone aged 5-15 years old, with sessions for 5-9 year olds from 1.30pm - 2.30pm and for the 10-15 year olds from 2.45 - 4.15pm, each Saturday for six weeks.
