Despite the inclement weather the cricket season is upon us

The temperatures may have been struggling to feel remotely spring-like recently let alone summery, but April marks the first sounds of leather on willow as the cricket season sparks into life.

Devon County Cricket Club have endured chilly conditions in warm up games already, but may find slightly warmer weather greets them in their friendly against a Somerset 2nd 11 on Sunday (14 April).

The match, at Exmouth Cricket Club, begins at 12.30pm.
