November 12th, 2025: Airband, the rural broadband specialist that brings ultrafast connections to country communities, has renewed its principal partner sponsorship of Barnstaple Town Football Club for the 2025-26 football season.

This renewal will see Airband continue to partner with the community club for a third season. Barnstaple Town play in the Western League Premier Division at level nine of the English football pyramid. After a solid start to the season, the club currently sit mid-table within touching distance of the play-off positions in the league table, with much to look forward to.

The partnership has contributed significantly to the growth of the club's visibility and funding base and demonstrates the importance of developing sustainable relationships with football clubs in our communities and showcasing them through the club’s social media exposure.

Airband is committed to supporting communities across our heartlands and we’re pleased to have the chance to continue our partnership with Barnstaple Town FC. They are a great community club and central to our sports sponsorship network. We hope the Barum can have a successful season and challenge for promotion,” said James Hyland of Airband.

As part of the partnership, Barnstaple Town have added new perimeter boards and a branded match ball plinth at their Mill Road ground, as well as playing a part in helping the club re-establish their women’s and U18’s teams this season.

Ross Drury, Barnstaple Town’s Commercial Manager, commented: “Everyone at Barnstaple Town is delighted to continue our partnership with the award-winning broadband provider Airband for the coming season, and we are grateful to be able to have such an innovative and community-focussed company ‘on our side’. It’s a new era at the club this season and we’re looking forward to moving forward together.

The renewal of the partnership follows Airband recently being recognised with a prize for innovation at the Connected Britain Awards. Airband has recently upgraded its wireless broadband offering to country communities meaning customers can now access 1Gbps speeds via Airband’s fixed wireless network.
