Match day - Argyle welcome in-form Bees to Home Park

Plymouth Argyle manager John Sheridan is looking for a more positive performance as Barnet are welcomed to Home Park for this afternoon's crucial League 2 fixture.

Barnet may only sit 3 places above the bottom of the table Pilgrims but the Bees have struck a relatively rich vein of form after a poor start to the season, collecting 4 wins and 2 draws in their last 8 games.

Player-manager and former Dutch international Edgar Davids has instilled some of his own brand of confidence and style into Barnet's football.  Davids' glittering career at a variety of clubs including Ajax, Juventus, both Milan clubs and Barcelona may have helped inspire an upward momentum in a club who have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 5 matches.

But Sheridan will hope to build on Argyle's battling midweek draw at fellow strugglers AFC Wimbledon and will be looking for his side to be brave and take 3 much needed points.
