BBC's Street Auction being filmed in Plymouth

Filming for the second series of BBC One’s Street Auction series, presented by Paul Martin of Flog It!, will take place at Tothill Park in Plymouth on June 24th from 1.30pm.

Officers who responded to Plymouth train crash commended

That’s what officers in Plymouth faced on 3 April 2016 when a busy service from Penzance crashed into an empty train on platform six.

Plymouth parents will benefit from free childcare scheme

The government is rolling out a new childcare funding scheme in September 2017 meaning Plymouth parents will be eligible for double the amount of free childcare.

Families with children aged 3 and 4, as of 31st August 2017, can apply for 30 hours of free childcare per week in the scheme which is aimed at encouraging parents back to work.
