Flybe pilot arrested on suspicion of being drunk before take off at Newquay

A pilot working for Exeter-based airline Flybe was arrested on suspicion of being drunk before take off after a fellow crew member raised the alarm.

He was due to fly from Newquay Airport to London Gatwick yesterday morning.

Zookeepers carve Hallowe'en animals

Zoo keepers in South Devon have created Halloween versions of the animals for which they care. Staff at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park carved pumpkins with faces inspired by some of the animals at the Zoo.
