Police appeal after Plymouth shop theft

Police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man and woman who are sought after two pairs of sunglasses were taken from a Plymouth city centre store.

Officers would like to speak to them in connection with the theft of the sunglasses, valued at a total of £635.

The sunglasses are believed to have been taken from the Sunglass Hut in Drake Circus at around 11.45am...

Popular garden waste scheme restarts

Plymouth’s popular garden waste collection is starting up again from 30 March.

This year the scheme will be extended by a month until the end of November so that people can sweep up autumn leaves and put their garden to bed for the winter.
