Woman assaulted in Plymouth car park

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious sexual assault in Plymouth which happened in the car park behind the Walkabout pub on Union Street between 11pm and 11.30pm on Monday 27th June.

A woman was approached by a man unknown to her who then committed the assault. He is described as a white male, aged 30 to 40, 6ft 1in tall of medium build. He was wearing a red England football T-shirt with a large white design on the front and black trousers.

Police are particularly keen to hear from two people who spoke to the victim following the assault, and who waited with her between 11.15pm and 11.37pm until she was collected by relatives.
