Family-run Wainwright Estate Agents in Saltash are looking to crown someone as a Hero and give them a £1000 prize in recognition of what they have achieved.

During the coronavirus pandemic the local business has seen and heard of many people, businesses and organisations going above and beyond to help others and they have decided it is time they are given some recognition. On top of the £1000 donation to the winner they will also be making an additional donation of £500 to their chosen charity, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Nominations can be submitted by email direct to Wainwright Estate Agents via hello@wainwrightestateagents.co.ukNominations can be an individual, group or a small organisation of less than ten employees and nominees must be located within the PL12, PL17 or PL18 postcodes.

Managing Director Tony Wainwright said “We really felt that after the last few months it was time to do something positive and recognise someone from the local community who has gone above and beyond in these uncertain times. We are also looking forward to being able to make a donation to Children’s Hospice South West who have continued providing care and support to children with complex medical conditions through the pandemic.”

Sherelle Puertas, Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West said “Donations like this really do mean so much to us. The pandemic has meant we have had to adapt our care for children and families very quickly at our three children’s hospices, including Little Harbour in St Austell which supports many families from the Saltash and Callington area. Donations like this are vital at this time.”
