
Valuable machinery stolen from building site
Police are investigating the theft of valuable machinery from a building site in Plymouth.
A Kubota hydraulic Tarmac breaker attachment for a digger was taken from Tesco car park at Transit Way where ground work was being completed.
The machinery, which is red and black and valued at £7,500, was stolen sometime between 5.30pm on Friday 18 September and 7.30am on Monday 21 September.
Police are appealing for information from members of the public who may have witnessed suspicious activity at the site at the time of the offence.
The machinery, which weighs around two tonne, would have required a number of people to lift it and a vehicle would have been needed.
Police are also keen to speak to any business or individual who may have been offered the equipment for sale.
