Sunny Smiles and Friendship by the Quay
Members of the Plymouth and South East Cornwall Oddfellows Friendly Society recently enjoyed a delightful evening gathering at Lockyer’s Quay in Plymouth.
The evening provided a wonderful opportunity for members to meet socially over dinner before taking a relaxing stroll along the quayside in the sunshine. With beautiful views across Plymouth’s waterfront, members enjoyed good conversation, friendship and the companionship that has been central to the Oddfellows movement for more than 200 years.
Brenda, Noble Grand (Chair) of Plymouth Oddfellows and a member of the Plymouth & Truro District Management Committee, said: “It was a pleasure to see members enjoying such a lovely evening together. The simple things, such as sharing a meal, taking a walk and having a good chat, are often what make the strongest friendships. The Oddfellows is about ensuring nobody has to feel alone and providing opportunities for people to come together.”
The Plymouth and South East Cornwall Oddfellows warmly welcomes new members and anyone interested in finding friendship, companionship and enjoyable social activities within their local community.
