YOUNG talent from a performing arts school in Plymouth took the West End by storm at the weekend in a performance to support the charity Breast Cancer Care.

Pupils from Stagecoach Performing Arts Plymouth showcased their talents alongside fellow students from various schools in a special charity gala performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End. They were one of ten acts who had been chosen nationally to perform as a result of their outstanding performances in showcases during the year. The students performed a song and dance medley from the iconic hit musical Annie.

All funds raised from the performance are being donated to Breast Cancer Care, the only UK wide charity providing care, information and support to people affected by breast cancer. Stagecoach announced a partnership with the charity at the beginning of 2016 and have dedicated fundraising efforts towards them throughout the year.

Stagecoach Performing Arts Plymouth Principal, Lynn Biddick says:  “It was wonderful seeing the pupils put all their efforts into an outstanding performance which had everyone on their feet cheering. At Stagecoach, we believe in the potential of every child and performances like these inspire the children to be confident and unleash their talents. Breast Cancer Care is a charity close to our hearts and we’re thrilled to have celebrated our fundraising efforts for them at such as prestigious red carpet event”
