Police call for witnesses to city nightclub assault

Police are investigating an assault in a Plymouth nightclub and are asking for anyone with information, or who might know the identity of the attacker, to come forward.

Officers were called to Bang Bang nightclub in Sherwell Arcade, Mutley at around 1.30am on Saturday 25th May following reports of an assault.

The victim, a 20 year old woman, suffered facial injuries as a result of the incident.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the club around the time of the incident and may have seen a fracas on the first floor.

The suspect is described as a white woman, aged around 20, with blonde, curly hair.
