As the Summer draws nearer and we’re all starting to consider what we can do without travelling abroad, foodies will be delighted to hear the latest news from Nature Valley Gone Wild Festival.

As a homegrown Devon festival, food and drink had to be an important part of the experience! With a focus on making the most of what the South West has to offer, festival-goers will be able to feast on locally sourced food and drink throughout the weekend.

Cult favourites Pickle Shack will be serving up a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience dining within Powderham Castle. Guests will be able to take in the unique surroundings while eating dishes created by Pickle Shack’s Michelin trained chefs. They will showcase the finest Devon grown ingredients in a family-style meal of sharing courses.

There will be two fun ways to try some refreshing ‘adult’ drinks over the course of the weekend.

You can head to the Explorers Inn - a pub complete with beer garden overlooking the lake. Visitors can cool off après adventure with hosts Bear Island Beer while listening to live music or taking part in a pub quiz. Bear Island Beer will be serving up cold brews all around the Powderham grounds from their fleet of 4x4s.

On the terrace of Powderham Castle, the expert mixologists from Spencer Matthews’ Clean Co will be serving up cocktail masterclasses using their Clean gin and rum, to enjoy while overlooking the view of the whole festival set amongst the rolling greenery and River Exe Estuary.

When you’re between adventures (perhaps you’ve just finished coasteering and need to refuel before bushcraft?) Nature Valley have you covered with their range of snacks from cereal bars to gluten-free protein bars. Nature Valley has been inspiring adventures across the nation with its philosophy of #GetOutMore and will be delighting guests at the festival with a number of imaginative and adventurous surprise experiences.
