Baby lambs have arrived at Bovey Castle for the first time as families are being given the chance to flock to the estate to feed them.

The lambs, which were born on 30 March on Dartmoor, are available to feed every day until 19 April in 30-minute slots at the hotel’s workshop.

There are four of them in total, including three Highlander Ewes, and a Suffolk and Highlander Ewe cross.

Dean Gunston, General Manager at Bovey Castle, said: “This is a baa-rilliant opportunity for youngsters to learn about lambing season, discover the rhythms of countryside life, and get up close to these adorable animals.

“Youngsters and adults will also get to bottle feed the lambs as part of the experience, creating special spring memories for families.”
