Man assaulted with metal pole

Police in Plymouth are seeking witnesses after an assault on a man at Marsh Mills, Plymouth, on Thursday 16 February 2017.

The incident happened just after 6.30am on the A38 at Marsh Mills Retail Park.

A vehicle collided with another vehicle causing damage. Both drivers stopped and one man has approached the victim and assaulted him, hitting him several times with a metal pole.                       

The victim, a man in his 20s, has sustained visible injuries to his left eye, right hand and the right side of his body.

The man police wish to speak to in connection with the incident is described as white, 6ft 2ins, of a big build, aged 45-years-old to 50-years-old, with short, grey, receding hair. He was wearing a green polo shirt, blue jeans and was driving a green Citreon Berlingo.
