Habito signs 11 year-old skateboarding sensation Roxana Howlett in first brand ambassador deal 

Roxana Howlett, the 11-year-old winner of the 2020 and 2021 Skateboarding National Championships has signed a deal to become Habito’s first brand ambassador.  

The six-month partnership has been created to shine a spotlight on skateboarding’s incredible emerging talent and supercharge the next generation of skateboarders. It kicks off just two days before the start of the Tokyo Olympics where skateboarding will make its highly anticipated Olympic debut. 

Over the next six months, Roxana will take on the role as a mentor to an up-and-coming skater in her native Devon, where she’ll also be spending her time passing on her knowledge and skills to the local skating community. 

Roxana Howlett said: “Hyped to announce I will now be working alongside Habito on this exciting project with them this year. It is such an important year for skateboarding and Habito is a great supporter of the sport as they sponsored the Nationals which I won earlier this year. I’m excited to be their ambassador for the next 6 months and mentor another new young skater.”

Roxana started skating at her local skatepark in Newton Abbot, Devon, when she was just six years old. She’s since gone on to win multiple competitions, including two consecutive wins at the Skateboarding National Championships in 2020 and 2021 in the Street discipline. Owing to Covid restrictions, Roxana’s family remodelled their back garden and created a home-made half-pipe to enable Roxana to participate in the 2020 Championships remotely.
