This Bonfire Night, staff at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe are hoping a new owner will see ‘fireworks’ when they set eyes on a sparky boy, Guy.

The six-year-old Beagle cross will certainly light up the life of a loving family and enjoys nothing more than a cuddle up in front of the fire.

Guy adores human company and spends his days as honorary office dog, sharing the office with the Supporter Relations team. Whilst the team love having Guy around, they are all hoping that he will ignite a spark with a loving new family ahead of Bonfire Night.

Louise Round, Head of Supporter Relations at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, said: “Guy is such a wonderful boy who will definitely put some sparkle into the life of a new owner. He is a wonderful boy who is so affectionate and adores human company so we are looking for an owner who can spend lots of time with him. He is very clever, so his new family would need to do lots of new things with him to keep his mind stimulated.

“Once you meet Guy, he will melt your heart and your love for him will rocket. Given time to settle you will have the perfect companion for life.”

Guy could live with children aged 14 and above but would like to be the only dog in the home so he can have his new owners all to himself.

If you think Guy could ignite a spark in your heart, please get in touch with Dogs Trust Ilfracombe on 0300 303 0292.
