Grand Reopening: The Ship Inn Paignton Shines with a Brand-new Look

The Ship Inn in Paignton, Devon, welcomes pub-goers back following an extensive 3-week refurbishment.

Boasting a brighter, modern aesthetic, The Ship Inn’s renovation has completely transformed the pub.

A refreshed bar updated soft furnishings, and an enhanced dining area has given the pub a brand-new lease of life, providing guests with a relaxed, welcoming environment to enjoy their visit.

Along with the latest look, The Ship Inn’s menu also features delicious popular guest favourites such as the ever-so indulgent Honey Clucker, mouth-watering Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken, and the Classic Mixed Grill. If that wasn’t enough, dive into a Chocolate Fudge Cake which is sure to become one of your all-time favourite desserts.

The Ship Inn hosts a quiz on Mondays from 7pm as well as a poker night on Tuesdays and Dungeons and Dragons night on Wednesdays at 6pm. The pub has also had dart boards installed and their new darts team will be playing on Tuesday evenings. The Ship Inn is available for private hire, making it the ideal venue for events such as weddings and birthdays as well as business meetings. The refurbished space has a capacity to comfortably seat up to 45 guests, meaning the pub can offer flexible options for any occasion.

Four-legged friends are also welcome at The Ship Inn with dogs on leads allowed into the bar and patio areas. There is also water, treats and dog blankets available on request to ensure dogs are as comfortable as their owners during their visit.
