Romantics in the city are being invited to text their Valentine messages on Friday 14 February to appear on Plymouth's Big Screen on the Piazza.

Anyone interested in declaring their love on the Big Screen needs to text 80011 and start their message with Plymouth by 5pm on Friday 14 February.

If you are planning to propose this Friday and need a specific time for your message to be displayed please email info@visitplymouth.co.uk in advance.

Stefan Krause, Plymouth City Centre Manager said: “What better way to celebrate Valentine’s day than to let your loved one know how you feel.  It doesn’t matter who the message is for: your boyfriend, girlfriend, mum, dad, sister, brother or grandparents – let someone you love see how much they mean to you on this very public day of affection.”

Texts will be charged at standard network rates.  Messages should be no more than 120 characters and will be moderated – inappropriate content will not be screened.  One text per person.  Texts sent after 5pm this Friday will not appear on the Plymouth Big Screen.
