A unit from Plymstock and the Specialist Rescue Tender from Camelshead have rescued a dog from a cliff above Bovisand Beach.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service report that on the crews' arrival at the scene at Bovisand Bay, Plymstock, the dog was found to be stuck in heavy gorse approximately 40 feet up a cliff.

The crews used a 135 ladder and an animal restraint to rescue the dog safely.
