Fatal A38 collision: Family pays tribute to Lee Skeldon

The family of one of the two men killed in a collision on the A38 in Saltash on Friday 1 November, has paid tribute to him.

Lee Skeldon, aged 27, from Saltash has been formally identified and named as the driver of the BMW 318 involved in the single vehicle collision at Whity Cross.

The other deceased man - the passenger in the car - has now been formally identified as Chris Williams, aged 21, also from Saltash.

Lee Skeldon's family paid the following tribute:

“In loving memory of our beloved son Lee David Skeldon who was much loved by his family and all his friends. Lee was a kind, thoughtful, hard-working lad who was very close to his brothers, Carl, Wayne, Scott and his younger brothers Corey, Thomas and Alfie.

“He had a great love for life but unfortunately was taken from us so young. Gone were the days we all used to share, but God will look after you in his loving care, you will be missed so much by us all. Rest in peace son, love you forever, Dad, Gemma and all of your brothers xxxxxxxx.”

“Lee you were the apple of my eye! I can’t believe you’re gone. Mum will never forget you, my beautiful son, love Mum and Shawn xxx.”

“Lee, it does not seem real that you have been taken from us but you will always be in our hearts and thoughts, love uncle Graham and auntie Charly xx.”
