Everything you need to know about Stagecoach bus services throughout the festive holidays
In a bid to keep the wheels turning this Christmas Stagecoach South West have announced extensive timetable information for the festive period seeing you into 2021.
The local bus operator has published service information for the holidays, including timetables for bus services on Christmas Eve through to the New Year, only taking a day off for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Mike Watson, Managing Director for Stagecoach South West said, “We will be there when our passengers need us, offering a safe, reliable and hassle free alternative to driving the car or ordering a taxi throughout the festive period.”
Once again Boxing Day travellers will be able to get out and about across the south west by bus with a special timetable in place. School holiday services will operate from Monday 21 December up to Thursday 24 December with last buses around 2000-2030 on Christmas Eve. There’ll be no buses on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day with normal services resuming on Monday 04 January 2021.

Stagecoach South West are also introducing several new timetables across their network from 3rd January. This latest set of changes sees minor tweaks to timing points to keep buses moving efficiently between stops. Notable changes are being made across Exeter and Plymouth.
Due to requests from the public following capacity issues on some journeys, the local bus operator is introducing a new timetable on the popular 2 route, connecting Mount Batten and Saltash to Plymouth. With additional buses added to the route, increasing its frequency to every ten minutes across peak times.
The Local bus operator are also rolling out their new look timetables ready for the New Year. These reissued timetables will be clearly dated from 1st January with no timings affected.
