Devon student to have work featured in prestigious exhibition

A Devon student is one of 40 students showcasing their work at a prestigious exhibition to be held at the Bargehouse, OXO Tower in London.

Karen Sanders, who splits her time between Devon and Bristol, is one of several students who will be showcasing their photographs in the exhibition entitled ‘ FLUXURE’.

The exhibition, which offers a private view on June 19th with the exhibition opening to the public for free from the 20th to the 23rd, is being held to mark the end of the students three year degree course in Photography.

The students, who have studied at The University of the West of England ( UWE) in Bristol, have developed a unique style over the years and have taken on some large scale projects; some include travelling others still life and interesting portraits.

The exhibition will feature 40 different photographers, works include large and small prints, books and even short films.

The students involved in FLUXURE have chosen to raise the funds for the exhibition themselves, through selling homemade cakes.

As well as their cake making, the students are now in the process of designing their marketing and publicity campaign.

This is a costly process and the students of UWE are urging the public to help by donating funds. Those who would like to help can donate funds by visiting https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ambermorahan/fluxure-graduate-show-.... This website can only be accessed by signing in through you Facebook account. This is to enable the students to thank all donators personally.

The funding raised will help provide transport from Bristol to London, the venue and creating the best marketing to provide the students with the publicity they need.
