Christmas Market Weekend at the Royal William Yard

With less than a month until Christmas, the festive season has begun and this weekend a Christmas Market takes place at the Royal William Yard in Plymouth's Waterfront.

Following the Thanksgiving celebrations and Christmas lights switch on last weekend, the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership will next host their first Christmas Weekend Market at the Royal William Yard.

The market will take place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December 2013 and be held in the Factory Cooperage. There will be a frenzy of festive fun with up to 40 stalls of arts, crafts and local produce from 10am until 5pm on both days. Be there to greet Santa who will make an appearance arriving at midday on Saturday on the Royal William Yard ferry and live entertainment across the two days will help give a festive feel.

Market-goers can enjoy three-times the fun with two other Christmas markets happening on the same weekend. From 11am-4pm, shoppers can wander over to River Cottage Canteen and Deli to experience some wonderful Christmas tastes and ideas. Then hop on the Cremyll Ferry and head across the water to Mount Edgcumbe and be inspired at the Christmas Gift Market, in its tenth year this year.
