Dressing down was the order of the day when the directors of a Devon care provider showed their support for Onesie Wednesday.

Modus Care’s Managing Director Steve Lawson and Deborah Stevenson, Director of Human Resources answered the National Autistic Society’s call for people to say ‘it’s alright to be different’ on World Autism Day by wearing onesies to work and raising funds for NAS at the same time.

“Too often it’s left to the marketing departments to take the lead in unusual antics for awareness raising and charity fundraising,” explained Steve.

“As caring for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder is a major part of our service, Deborah and I felt it was time to step out of our comfort zone to support those with ASD and everyone who works so hard to make a better world for them.”

Besides Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Modus Care offers independent and bespoke services in Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton and Surrey for people with Aspergers Syndrome, associated challenging behaviours and other complex needs.
