The British Army brings virtual reality technology to the Skills Show South West in Plymouth

On the 14th and 15th March, the British Army is bringing interactive kit to the Skills Show South West in Plymouth, the largest careers, jobs, skills and apprenticeship event in the South West. The British Army is the UK’s largest employer provider of apprenticeships and will be talking about the wide variety of paid opportunities in the British Army for those seeking a challenge, adventure or training.

Visitors can experience a parachute jump through virtual reality headsets and test their problem-solving skills and hand-eye co-ordination with the Batak machine.

Interactive equipment from the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers will be on display and local soldiers including an Army chef will be present to talk about their experiences in the Army.
