Appeal after woman sexually assaulted in Plymouth

Police are investigating a sexual assault on a woman which took place in Longbridge Road in the area of Marsh Close in Plymouth on 6th July at around 10.15pm.

The victim, a woman in her 20’s, is being supported by specialist officers.

Police would like to speak to a man who may hold important information about the assault. He is described as white, approximately 5’11” tall and aged between 20 and 30. He was wearing dark baggy style shorts and a zip up hooded top. He spoke with an English accent.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area between 9pm and 11pm on the night of Wednesday 6th July.
