
Appeal after unprovoked attack in Plymouth
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Plymouth.
The incident happened at the Revolution Bar on Derry’s Cross at around 1.30am on Sunday 5 March 2017.
A man was approached in the nightclub whilst standing at the bar. A male offender hit the victim in the face with what is believed to be glass which shattered upon impact.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, was left with a laceration to his chin which required stitches. He also received further cuts to his face and chest.
The offender is described as white, and between 25-years-old and 30-years-old.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the offence and asking anyone with information to contact them via 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/016293/17.
