Performers announced for River Cottage's Summer Shindig

Live music, food and family fun is on the menu at River Cottage Plymouth Canteen’s Bank Holiday Shindig on  Sunday 28 August.

Kicking off at   6pm   there will be live music from The Old Gaffers who will be performing sea shanties to get the evening off to a toe-tapping start plus Dumbo’s Feather. The canteen chefs will be cooking up a storm on the BBQ using the best seasonal, local ingredients. To top it all off there will be welly wanging, arts and crafts and face painting.

Following on from the success of the sell-out May Bank holiday shindig Sam Walton commented “The shindig is a fun family event where young and old can come together to enjoy top quality local live music and delicious locally sourced food. It’s a real family affair, there will be plenty to entertain the kids”.
