Across Devon, National Trust gardens are filling with colourful spring blooms, and houses are looking tip-top after their intensive winter cleans. There’s loads going on this season with guided tours, exhibitions, and Easter egg hunts. What’s more, every time you experience a National Trust day out, you help care for these special places for future generations.

Join a knowledgeable guide for a tour of Finch Foundry to experience the sights, sounds and smells of what was one of the South West's most successful tool factories. Inspect the waterwheels that powered massive hammers, giant shears and a huge sharpening stone. Killerton

Indoor mouse trail for young explorers

Daily, 11am – 4pm (last entry to the house 3.30pm)

Can you spot the hidden mice who help us look after the house? There are 10 of our smartly dressed, furry friends to find.

Price: Free (normal admission applies). No booking required.

Active minds and busy bodies fashion exhibition

Daily, 11am – 4pm (last entry to the house 3.30pm)

This year the fashion exhibition explores how fashion has changed and adapted over time as the activities enjoyed on the country estate spread out into wider society. We still take part in many of the activities that people first enjoyed on country house estates. For some, the clothing remains quite traditional while other sportswear and equipment now combines cutting edge technology and high fashion.

Price: Free (normal admission applies). No booking required.
