The big reveal of this year's West Country Women Awards finalists took place at a sumptuous tea party at the enchanting Powderham Castle in Devon this week.

Women from all four counties of the south west peninsular will now progress to the prestigious awards ceremony which celebrates the remarkable achievements and contributions of exceptional women across the region.

The announcement of the finalists is a significant milestone in the West Country Women Awards, showcasing the incredible talents and accomplishments of women who have made a lasting impact in their respective fields.

Founded by Alexis Bowater OBE and Tess Stuber, the awards aims to inspire and empower women, recognising the invaluable contributions they make to society while creating a community of support across the west country.

Powderham Castle, a grand and historic venue nestled amidst the picturesque Devon countryside, provided a captivating and magnificent backdrop for the awards ceremony. Its unique blend of architectural splendour and natural beauty made it the perfect setting to honour these extraordinary women.

The finalists were carefully selected from a pool of exceptional nominees across various categories, including Small Business of the Year, Women in STEM, Combatting Violence Against Women and Girls, Women in Tech, Best Supporting Act, the Phoenix Award and many others.

Each finalist in the 16 categories has demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience, and innovation, making the judging process a difficult one.

The glittering red carpet West Country Women Awards Gala Finalists Event on December 1st at the Crowne Plaza in Plymouth now promises to be an unforgettable evening, filled with excitement, inspiration, and celebration.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, discover new opportunities, meet the sponsors including Headline Sponsors Go South West and Headline Production Sponsors PL1 Events and support the remarkable women who have shaped their communities.
