Ferry operator Brittany Ferries today launches its latest timetables for sailings to France and Spain, for travel up until November 2027. Holidaymakers can now plan French and Spanish holidays and breaks this winter, as well as into next spring, summer and autumn.

The newly-published timetable covers 12 months of ferry services from 2nd November 2026 to 7th November 2027. Overall, in peak season, it offers 130 weekly sailings linking 12 ports in UK, Ireland, France and Spain – more choice than any other cross-Channel ferry operator.

Highlights of the newly published schedule include:

UK to Normandy. Brittany Ferries’ most popular route, Portsmouth to Caen, celebrates 40 years of sailing with three daily return sailings operated by cruise-ferry Mont St Michel and the company’s newest vessel, hybrid LNG-electric powered Guillaume de Normandie. Meanwhile Portsmouth to Le Havre promises daily sailings from 22nd March – 7th November 2027. Cherbourg will be served with daily sailings from its twin town of Poole, and two sailings a week from Portsmouth.

UK to Brittany. Portsmouth has been linked by ferry to the Breton gateway town of St Malo for half a century and in 2027 the route will offer civilised daily, overnight sailings southbound, and daytime return sailings northbound throughout the year. Brittany Ferries’ original route from the Devon port of Plymouth to Roscoff in Brittany will offer up to seven sailings a week in each direction, with the return of popular Thursday overnight sailings from Plymouth aboard company flagship Pont-Aven.

UK to Northern Spain. Overnight sailings linking the UK to northern Spain have gained popularity in recent years, as more Brits swap planes for ferries. The 2027 timetable will offer up to six departures a week in each direction – two linking Portsmouth to Bilbao (also ideal for reaching southwest France), two linking Portsmouth with Santander (also convenient for Portugal) and two connecting Plymouth with Santander.

Ireland to France. In 2027 holidaymakers heading to France from Ireland can choose from four weekly sailings year-round to Cherbourg from Rosslare (2 hours 45 minutes’ drive from Dublin), plus two weekly sailings from Cork to Roscoff from March ’til November.

Ireland to Spain. Brittany Ferries launched the first ever Ireland to Spain ferry service in 2018, and in 2027 it will offer two weekly return sailings from Rosslare to Bilbao operated by one of its latest LNG-powered cruise-ferries Salamanca.

Paul Acheson, Brittany Ferries’ director sales and marketing says:

More than ever, the regions we serve in France and Spain offer an accessible, peaceful and authentic escape from global strife and overtourism. We’re delighted to make next season’s ferry sailings to these destinations available earlier than ever before, which means customers can put their travel plans in place for 2027 now.  Booking today also guarantees the best choice of sailings, fares, and the first pick of cabins, especially the most sought-after types such as de-luxes, Commodores and pet-friendlies.”
