Wagamama know how to do summer in Plymouth!
Wagamama Plymouth is introducing a newly renovated bar concept to serve freshly mixed cocktails and tasting platters to guests along with their famed pan-asian menu. the bar will be home to a resident DJ every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening throughout the long summer evenings, launching tonight, Thursday 24 July.
This will be the third wagamama in the uk to serve cocktails designed by mixologists to complement the pan-asian inspired menu. exotic fruit brings a fresh burst to the raspberry mule and ginger lychee martini, and there is a japanese twist on cocktail classics, such as the yuzu collins and prosecco based tokyo 46.
Wagamama is also introducing new food platters which are inspired by Plymouth’s coastal location. they include a seafood offering, made up of grilled salmon and shitake mushroom skewers and chilli squid.
Other options include a mixed platter featuring korean bbq skewers, stir fried beef and ‘tori kara age’, tender chicken pieces served with a chilli, garlic and soy dipping sauce. a vegetarian option with grilled asparagus and wok friend greens will keep things fresh and completes the tasty new trio – perfect for sharing!
“We’re looking forward to showcasing wagamama’s new summer concept at plymouth and get everyone in the summer mood,” said restaurant general manager Jenny Hilley.
“We’re really excited to welcome people to wagamama to enjoy great food, great music and great cocktails together!”
Whether you are out for dinner with friends enjoying the new wagamama summer menu, or catching up over a cocktail, wagamama plymouth will be the perfect setting this summer!
