Multi-award-winning brownie business to open café and shop in Okehampton

Award-winning brownie company, Love Brownies, is set to win the hearts, and stomachs, of the market town of Okehampton, with the launch of its brand-new café and shop on Fore Street. 

Established in 2009, Love Brownies is adored for its decadent brownies and seasonal menus, which are available across its UK stores and cafés, as well as online. 

The Okehampton store, which will be open to the public from Thursday 17th March, will mark the opening of the brand’s 18th café, with more set to be unveiled in the coming months as part of the company’s ambitious UK expansion.  

The shop and café will offer a mouth-watering menu of indulgent handmade chocolate brownies in a variety of tempting flavours including chocolate orange, honeycomb, coconut and morello cherry, with vegan alternatives available, as well as delicious milkshakes and a range of premium, freshly-brewed coffees.

Alongside the brownies, a delicious ‘Dales Kitchen’ breakfast and lunch menu with hearty, wholesome options for adults and children will also be available.

Love Brownies’ Head Baker and Owner, Chantal Teal said: “We couldn’t be more pleased to be bringing Love Brownies to the traditional market town of Okehampton. Known as the walking centre of Devon, we hope to welcome many outdoor adventurists, or those simply seeking a spot to enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and mouth-watering treats.

“Our Okehampton café is our most southernly venture to date and marks our eighteenth store opening, which is a great cause for celebration. We have big plans for 2022 and look forward to opening more stores across the UK over the coming months.”

The new Love Brownies Okehampton café will be open seven days a week, and will be located at Bridge House, 25 Fore Street, Okehampton, EX20 1DL.
