Fantastic food and fun for all the family at PenGrillie

The inaugural PenGrillie BBQ event takes place on Sunday 10th July in the grounds of Pentillie Castle, St Mellion, Saltash, PL12 6QD, between 11am and 6pm.

With freshly cooked flavoursome food, live demos, experts and live music - there’s plenty of tasty reasons to come along for anyone who likes food that been cooked outdoors:

10 teams will be battling it out for the title of PenGrillie Pitmaster, offering their helpful tips, some tasty nibbles for you to try, and of course entertainment as they twizzle their tongs, and rub their ribs!

BBQ DEMONSTRATIONS including:

o        ‘Dirty Steaks’ from Marcus Bawdon of UK BBQ Magazine
o        Brisket from Inkie’s Smokehouse
o        Cooking with Pumpkin Leaves from the African Chef
o        Asado cooking with Sizzle Grills, Hot and Cold Smoking with Pro Q
o        ‘Classic Baby Back Ribs’ from Jackie Weight
o        The Good Game Company on BBQ cooking with game!
o        If time allows a session on cooking chicken outdoors – ‘beer can chicken’ and deep-fried chicken!

Kid’s entertainment area, including pebble painting, coconut shy and s’mores!
And of course you can also explore the 55 acres of Pentillie’s woodland gardens.
