Following on from the hugely popular Eat Out to Help Out (EOHO) scheme, a Plymouth-based restaurant is hoping people will continue to dine out having seen the measures put in place to look after their safety.

The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, which is located on the top floor of the Crown Plaza Hotel on Armada Way, is now looking forward to a positive Autumn on the back of the Government scheme.

Phillip Rankin, general manager said: “We had a phenomenal response to the Government backed EOHO scheme serving over 2,000 covers throughout August and want to continue that momentum through the Autumn.

“The scheme has without doubt made customers feel comfortable to eat out in our restaurant as they can then see for themselves the measures put in place to ensure the safety of both guests and staff.

“The momentum generated from the EOHO scheme has then transcended into the weekend where covers have also risen significantly. It’s been a resounding success and the mood here is buoyant.

“We want our customers to feel reassured we’ve done all we can to provide them with a safe dining environment.

“We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene and we’ve taken every precaution so that those who dine with us can do so safe in the knowledge that all has been done to safeguard their health and that of the staff.”
