Pubs across Devon are helping to cheer up the region this January by giving away free drinks.

Across the country, more than 1,000 pubs are giving us an excuse to visit our local in the New Year as part of a ‘Cheer Up January’ campaign.

Whether you fancy a pint, a gin and tonic, or if you’re doing Dry January, a non-alcoholic beer or soft drink, you can take up the offer in a number of pubs in Exeter including:

  • Exmouth Arms, Exmouth
  • Market House Inn, Cullompton
  • Ye Old Jolly Sailor, Teignmouth
  • Port Royal, Exeter
  • Dog & Duck, Torquay
  • Halfway House, Willand
  • Rising Sun, Plymouth
  • Village Inn, Westward Ho!
  • Ebberley Arms, Barnstaple

To find all the pubs near you visit https://great-british-pubs.co.uk/campaign/cheer-up-january/

You can pick from drinks including Heineken, Stella Artois, Guinness, Amstel, Carling, Strongbow, Heineken 0.0. Britvic J20, Gordon’s pink gin and tonic, and Rekorderling alcohol free.

You’ve got between 2nd and 19th January to claim your free drink and you must download a voucher to your phone from www.freedrinkoffer.co.uk before showing it at your nearest participating watering hole.

The offer is available at approximately 1,000 pubs across the UK, thanks to Ei Publican Partnerships, the UK’s largest leased and tenanted pub business.

Managing Director at Ei Publican Partnerships, Nick Light, said: “January is often seen as one of the least enjoyable months of the year, but we want to change that. We’re giving away up to 100,000 free drinks to say Happy New Year to our customers and encouraging people to visit their local pub to socialise with other members of the community.”
