Theatre Royal Plymouth have today announced that Soap Star Steve McFadden will lead their panto cast as the villainous Captain Hook in a spectacular production of Peter Pan, which will run from 15 December 2017 – Saturday 13 January.

Former British Soap Awards ‘Villain of the Year’, Steve McFadden is one of Britain’s favourite soap-baddies and has been a regular on our TV screens for nearly two decades. Steve's TV credits include The Bill, Minder, Bergerac, Kevin and Perry Go Large, Murder in Mind, Britain's Hardest and most famously EastEnders.

Steve McFadden Said “Nothing beats playing to a live theatre audience, so I can’t wait to be on stage at the Theatre Royal Plymouth this Christmas. I’m also really looking forward to spending time in a beautiful part of the country which I love and exploring Plymouth properly between shows.”

Peter Pan is produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, the company behind Theatre Royal Plymouth pantomime successes including last year’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Managing Director of Qdos Entertainment’s Pantomimes Division Michael Harrison said “Steve is a first-class actor and we are absolutely delighted that he’ll be leading the cast of our Plymouth pantomime. He’s a fantastic panto performer and is guaranteed to have the audience ‘booing’ as he tries to outwit Peter Pan!”.

Marianne Locatori Marketing and Communications Director at Theatre Royal Plymouth said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Steve McFadden to the Theatre Royal Plymouth for Peter Pan this Christmas. Our pantomime is always an important highlight in our programme and for audiences across the South West.”

Tickets are priced at £10 - £36.50 and can be booked online at www.theatreroyal.com or by calling the Theatre Royal Plymouth Box Office on 01752 267222. Concessions are available.
